How does the subscription work?

We send you postcards and stamps every month - either 4 or 8 of each (your choice, of course). You may either pay $9.95 per month, or prepay to save a little bit of cashola.

Why do you send stamps?

If you truly love standing in line at the post office, then maybe this subscription isn’t for you. To be clear, we are not anti-postal service, because they allow us to do what we do! We’re just anti-line. I mean, sometimes we see people we know, and that’s fun. But otherwise, it’s just easier to have the correct amount of stamps mailed to you every month.

May I gift a subscription?

Oh honey, can you ever. In fact, we think you should order one for everyone you know. Or at least as many people as you like.

How do I think of things to write?

You will receive a lagniappe (that’s “a little something extra”) each month with a writing tip. You can also check out our blog for ideas.

What if I don’t like one or two of the cards that you sent me?

Send ‘em back. We’ll replace them. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

What is a social enterprise?

Sugar & Kiki is a social enterprise, which means we use a business model to address a social issue. For us, it’s mental health. We strive to create opportunities for connection, which help prevent the isolation and hopelessness that people with mental health issues often face. We also put our money where our mouth is.
